lol thought you might! I just wondered if I was the only one to start thinking about it yet:)

It's nearly that time of year where people look back at the books they have read this year and decide on their favourites. Has anyone started doing this yet? A bit early I know but I always find it so difficult!

Hello! This is a great place to be!
-
Oh no Steffie, how annoying!
-
Excellent, posting on there now!
-
Thanks I had seen that one mentioned elsewhere with good comments so I might go for that one.

I can't wait to read some more of his, any recommendations of what I should try next of his?
-
Brilliant, thanks!

To Kill A Mockingbird is one of my very favourite books And Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is right up there too. They're the only ones from your list that I've read. What did you think of Enduring Love? I have that one on my TBR pile.
I loved To Kill a Mockingbird, I am so glad I read it finally- it has got me inspired to read some more classics. Enduring Love I am still, a few months later, undecided what I thought of it! It was a good book but I think my problem was the main character infuriated the heck out of me! But I definitely recommend it, let me know what you think when you read it!

The Secret Life of Bees is something I have wanted to read for a long time, I first heard it mentioned years ago on an American forum and they raved about it. Let us know what you think about it. Good luck with all your reading.

Same here with Wuthering Heights, first time I tried to read it I couldn't stand it but the second time I absolutely loved it!

I did that for ages too but then found it in the library so was happy! I will most definitely let you know what I think when I finish. At the moment I am enjoying it but think I have guessed something that might happen so am intrigued to see if I am right!

I love The Stand, it is one of my all time favourite books. I haven't read it again for a couple of years though so I think I need to find a new copy!

Thanks all! I am really loving being back and reading through all the threads!

I have just started this book but have been very good and not read everyones thoughts. I look forward to finishing and sharing with you all!
-
I really loved it although I thought the end was a little too neat:) However it inspired my plot idea for this years NaNoWriMo! I must read some more of his.
-
I quite often leave without a book, not because I am being good but because I just can't choose what to buy!
-
Thank so much! Close the book journals and I will just start afresh:)
You are a shiny bright star and I hope it didn't cause too much trouble xx
-

By the way thanks for the offer!
