  1. Thats a good point, I have lost track of the times ive went for a quiet night out at the theater only to be confronted by a packed house of children. WB will just look more and more stupid if these theories continue.
  2. but schedules change all the time, there is no garantee that because no movies are coming out on that weekend as of now that things wont change. I see this as a massive slap in the fact to fans to be honest. They should have just released a press statement saying "we wish to squeeze every single penny out of these already hugely profitable movies, no matter how much it makes fans wait"

    Hi everyone

Welcome! Sure you will find plenty of inspiration for books.
  4. I would have HAD to have kept listening to that for the sheer hilarity.
  5. meh, half blood was uneventful, i cant even remember it, thats how bland it was.
  6. Even then, people are going to see harry potter no matter what, its going to make a fortune even if its released at 1am on xmas eve and only shows in the following 24 hours. Delaying a movie by almost a year to "guarantee" a big cash flow = your not seeing a penny of my money.
  7. http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/2008/8/14/half-blood-prince-movie-pushed-to-july-2009 Does anyone actually buy these reasons? "the after effects of the writers strike" ? what does that have to do with a film thats *ALREADY* been filmed, edited and prepped for release?
  8. No problem, to turn it off just hit it again (its on the top right, f12 then prnt scrn then scroll lock)
  9. seems you have hit the scroll lock key http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scroll_lock
  10. hahahaha...ahahahahah..no. my dad had to borderline beg just to get xp on the laptop, I tend to use linux for most things these days. Vista tends to cause more problems than it solves, I could not be paid to use it.
  11. I have a printed version from gutenberg in my tbr , but I did see the movie the other week and enjoyed it so might wait a bit longer to read it.
  12. install software from cd > convert file via their software>put file on mp4 player>win.
  13. I am serious. This probably stems from me not taking a break between finishing a book and starting a new one.
  14. The majority of mp4 players wont let you load external codecs, it sounds like you may need to convert the downloaded video (did your player come with converting software?)
  15. The chronicle of the 21'st century. That way I buy myself rather a lot of time.
  16. I generally only listen to talk radio, the only radio station I listen to even occasionally is http://www.wbai.org/ I mainly listen to off the hook/off the wall.
  17. I tend to remember more as time goes on for some reason, E.G i cant remember the last book I read (according to my list it was black order) but i can remember a fair bit about Fahrenheit 451 which i read months back.
  18. That does not make him less of a pain in the ****. It just means he is a lucky pain in the ****.
  19. He has also recently starred in a movie called "numb" where he plays a guy who goes through depersonilization. Tis a very interesting movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0795439/ quote that was much more funny to me than it should have been: Hudson: I watched the golf channel for 23 hours yesterday. Dr. Townsend: Why golf? Hudson: I don't know. I find it comforting. It's green. People are whispering.
  20. yeah, cos that would never happen!
  21. That was a show I never saw, after such glowing praise I think i will go add it to my dvd rental list!
  22. I almost never watch tv now as adverts drive me *nuts* I hate them all. the last advert i would say was "good" was the car one with all the bits falling into place. But generally I avoid adverts like the plague.
