  1. I hate to think how many I have in mine. Just added the Book of Lost Things and Lost and Found and I still have to start Emma for the Jane Austen book club!!
  2. A Small Part of History Synopsis This is the unforgettable story of the women who travelled the Oregon Trail in 1945
  3. Seems to have righted itself now Michelle, thanks.

  4. It was an easy read, I will do a review later. I said at the beginning that it seemed to lack depth and I had hopes that would improve. It didnt:roll:
  5. I must get round to reading this one day
  6. 1. Who is your all-time favourite author, and why? Like everyone else I find this difficult to answer 2. Who was your first favourite author, and why? Do you still consider him or her among your favourites? As a child, Enid Blyton, as an adult Denise Robins. Both are dead now so, no I dont read their books . 3. Who’s the most recent addition to your list of favourite authors, and why? Probably Jodi Picoult 4. If someone asked you who your favourite authors were right now, which authors would first pop out of your mouth? Are there any you’d add on a moment of further reflection? Robert Goddard, Minette Walters, Elizabeth Kostova __________________

  8. Hi Paula, which book have you chosen from Newbooks? Seems a bit silly for us both to choose the same one.

  10. Nor me, I have had a really rotten day today, everything has gone wrong. Never mind OH has just handed me a bowl of cornflakes, with yoghurt and honey Mmmmmm. Hope you feel better soon

  11. I have finished reading A Small Part of History and will do a review later. I am not sure what book is next. I am faced with a book Nici has asked me to review which I am going to cry buckets over, title Lost and Found by Jacqueline Sheehan; The House at Riverton by Kate Morton; and Helpless book from Newbooks; These are all at the top of my TBR pile. Decisions, decisions.
  12. I too would like to see the Royal Ballet's production of Beatrix Potter. I have seen Romeo and Juliet and still have an old recording of the Royal Ballet doing it. Its wonderful. Try and see Swan Lake Slywaka, you will never regret it. Make sure it is a world ranking ballet company performance that you see though.
