  1. I'm reading Nevil Shute's posthumously published novel, Trustee From the Toolroom. Although a lot of the sailing and engineering descriptions go over my head, I'm enjoying the story.
  2. Seven Spanish Angels ~ Ray Charles and Willie Nelson
  3. This is a very nostalgic time for me too, Muggle. With the exception of Donny Osmond and John Lennon (sorry Beatles fans ) I'm a fan of all the rest.

  7. I'm really glad I'm not alone in my assessment. I sometimes think I'm getting over critical in my old age It started well but went downhill from there. At least you can do other things while you listen
  8. People Will Say We're In Love ~ from Oklahoma
  9. Keeping Faith the final series. I've been a huge fan of this series and am so sad it has finished. And also Outlander Series 3. My sympathy lies entirely with the Scots.

  11. A topic of great ill repute... When dressed in one's birthday suit
  12. Rainy Day People ~ Gordan Lightfoot
  13. Just finished this, Marie. I found the characters inconsistent and rather unbelievable. I got particularly annoyed with Blaze's on/off relationship with Joshua. They carried on like a couple of juveniles rather than a middle-aged couple. It has very good reviews, described as witty and comic but I can't say it struck me as particularly humorous. It was OK but not memorable.
  14. Furry Bear If I were a bear, And a big bear too, I shouldn't much care If it froze or snew; I shouldn't much mind If it snowed or friz-- I'd be all fur-lined With a coat like his! For I'd have fur boots and a brown fur wrap, And brown fur knickers and a big fur cap. I'd have a fur muffle-ruff to cover my jaws. And brown fur mittens on my big brown paws. With a big brown furry-down up to my head, I'd sleep all the winter in a big fur bed. A.A. Milne
