  1. My City of Ruins ~ Bruce Springstein (Bruce sang this in Christchurch, NZ the other night on the eve of the 2011 earthquake anniversary and dedicated it to the people who had suffered during the earthquakes and some recent bad fires there. He was so very gracious.)
  2. Really glad you enjoyed this Muggle
  3. Excellent choice, Muggles, now you're doubly magical!
  4. Oh dear, you're too late with your suggestion now. I'm sure he would have given it serious consideration too. Ever the bridesmaid, eh!
  5. Never heard of Primark, so had to look it up. I don't watch The Walking Dead and I've only ever known the rhyme as 'catch a tigger.' Not sure if Primark's intention was rascist, but it certainly wasn't mine
  6. The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame Watership Down by Richard Adams Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder Heidi by Johanna Spyri
  7. How's the eenie, meenie, miney moe going?
  8. Aren't they just! Has given me a lifelong wish to visit the Hebride Islands.
  9. Remember The Days Of The Old School Yard ~ Cat Stevens
  10. Reminds me to reread some Dorothy L Sayers! Like you I really enjoy her writing and characters. I go for old favourites like Gerald Durrell, Mary Wesley, Lilian Beckwith etc or read something light and undemanding with a feel-good factor. I'm going through a slumpy patch at the moment and have happily read two children's books, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Goodnight, Mr Tom.
  11. We'll let you choose this time, Muggle
