Ah well you cannae win them all Sedge and as long as they are ready for the 'big one' on Monday. Andy and the boys did good today and managed a 3-2 victory in their quarter final so through to their first semi in their first year in 1st Division. Hope they can pull it out the bag on the day to get to a final.

May be a wee bit of cartlidge damage, but has to get is scanned again in two weeks, but is hoping it won't be anything too serious.

Well done the Saints....good warm up for you as you say. Be great win on Easter Sunday for you! Andy and his U'13's had a massive WIN today.....12-0, you had to feel sorry for the other team:cool: Beautiful morning too, hot at 11am, more of that please. Hopefully they have managed to pull themselves out of the bottom 3 and won't be involved in any consolation cups. They played well as a team today, making his team choice for next week a bit difficult for those who sat out this week.

Glendale managed a 2-2 draw today, so at least a point. News of the injured mate, he has knee support and hobbling on crutches but hopefully nothing that needs more than that, fluid on the knee, so given time hopefully will make full recover. Hope you gained some points today Sedge.

  20. Hope to get to the wee book you sent me soon Paula 8)

  21. I don't usually do the crime/thriller either Toni, but this was the exception and I liked the way it was written too. Makes a change to try something different.
  22. Borrowed from my sis who highly recommended this one, us being sisters! Although she did warn me it would affect me more by being the older sister when reading it, and it did !! Tissues needed though! Excellent read! Beatrice gets a call to say her younger sister is missing. She takes it on herself to solve the mystery of what truly happened to her, discovering things about her sister she didn't know. It takes us down the medical route of how her sister may have been involved in malpractice with a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, which their brother had and it could have affected her unborn baby. The police, Beatrice's fiance and their mother begin to accept the loss of Tess, but she has other ideas and keeps pursuing the truth, which she won't give up on. I don't know where she got the strength to keep going, and was accused of 'crying wolf' too many times. Very well written. Heaps of emotions invovled, especially me being the older sister in our family and likenesses were uncanny at times. I loved the twist at the end and didn't see it coming at all. This is Rosamund's first novel is writing another....can't wait to see what that one will be like 'Afterwards'.

Good stuff again for you Sedge. Poor goalie though...just a blip and hopefully won't make a habit of that! Andy and his U'13's were up for revenge today against the team who were fielding an ineligible player last week. However they fought hard but beat 3-2. We will just have to wait the outcome of the report from the SYFA. The same boy was playing today, but it appears that he is now unregistered with the U'14 team and was down as a trialist today.....all very complicated so watch this space!!
