enjoyed the review Frankie....and I agree 100% with what's under your spoiler! Shutter Island turned out to be one of my fave books, and I didn't think the movie was as bad as most of the critics.....but I'll definitely agree, read the book first!!

I too didn't read any of the Narnia books as a child...nor as an adult....for some reason those books don't appeal to me

finished A Stolen Life and started Explosive Eighteen (Janet Evanovich), got to about page 60, and promptly chucked it. Unreadable crap. I admit the other 17 weren't exactly Literary winners, and I read them mostly out of loyalty, but it's time to retire the series. Really.

Heck with library book! I would of just reported it 'lost' and risk paying ( or replacing) the book

I was one of five winners for a Fathers Day gift set from bookreporter! I won 10 books (pre-chosen of course) a cooler, a beach towel, and coffee! Apparently its already been shipped, so hopefully arrives this week....I'll post titles and pics when I actually get them :D
