  1. Hiya! How's it going. Been meaning to email you. Promise to shortly. Hope you are well. Hugs, Susie.

  2. Hi Janet! Just popping by and thought I would leave the proverbial calling card! :)

  5. Hi Sarah. Yes, I had apple blossom but it looked too jumbled. I might try something else when I have time to fiddle. How are you...congrats again :) I must catch up with your blog. I'm way behind on my blogs too. Thinking of giving at least one of them up!

  6. Oh dear Louise! Your avatar convinced me that was what you looked like! Never occured to me it was someone else! Dumb or what!!

  7. I love your pictures Tiger. they are so sweet!

  8. Yep...been in the garden, weeding like mad. Got to make the most of this wonderful weather! Also clearing the airing cupboard, washing, marking and re-organising linen into those bags that you suck the air out of, (with the vaccum cleaner of course). Saved quite a bit of space, but I need to get some bigger bags to store the quilts. Job for tomorrow.

  9. Yes...I remember those strikes! And I made bread then too, but unfortunately it never worked properly as I used the airing cupboard too, and it just wouldn't rise!
  10. Hiya. Just popping by. How are you?

  11. Emi226 said Especially if it's the last two pages! And I don't mind the odd pencil mark, but not great chunks all over the place, and only in ref books.
  12. I seem to remeber that my old mixer (Krups) had dough kneaders - or whatever. If you don't have a comprehensive mixer that might solve space prblems and convince OH...two or three things for the price of one! It's a thought. Pp
  13. Hiya. Thanks for the friendship and message. Good to see you back. I must try and post more often! Hugs,

    Susie.

  19. Hello Emma. Just passing through :)

  20. Hello! just passing by! Bye bye :)

  21. This is a difficult one, because although I like my books to be in pristine condition, no book stays that way for long if it is read a lot. The fact that it is a bit dogeared means it is loved. There is nothing more sad than a shiny new book on the shelf which is shiny and new(untouched) because it has never been read (I'm excluding all those in TBR lists here). Books should be loved but not abused, is what I think I'm trying to say
  22. Oh great! So it should be. Thanks for the info Janet. I bought a copy. Can't remember where from. It really is such a lovely little story. Pp
  23. Hi Davo. You've come to the right place. I came here just as I started reading again after a long break, thinking I would never get to grips with all the books out there, but nearly two years on, I'm still here, have read loads more and like everyone else have a to-be-read mountain which sticks out of the roof. So I'm sure you'll fit it. Oh and great to have another person from Scotland Enjoy! Pp
  24. I must admit to doing the same as Michelle. I usually manage to sell one book every four months on greenmet, so it's hardly worth the bother. Louise and H&D, are you selling as private sellers on Amazon? I think I had an account there many moons ago. How does it work? I thought they were all traders...businesses. Pp
  25. Remind me not to click onto any more links from you, Andy. I have just been totally absorbed for the last hour, fascinated by the active map and quite enjoying the story. Certainly a change from my usual 'read' Thanks for the link. Pp
