  13. Jonathan Stroud will be signing copies of this in the Borders in Preston in January. I might just pop along and pick myself up a copy.
  14. This book still makes me shudder to think about it (and don't even get me started on the TV adaptation/film) Most books from school I really enjoyed but this one was pure torture for me. I hated every bit of it and I can't even put my finger on why.

  25. It's been a while since I've read it (an excuse to dig it out again I think) but from what I remember, it fills in a lot of the gaps from the original. I don't think it was from Rebecca herself but a relative telling her tale.
