  1. I agree there. The boys met Terence Relph in October.
  2. Did anyone else enjoy Charlotte's Web?
  3. Gwyneth Rees writes for children of all ages. I am just waiting to read her first book written, My Mum's From Pluto, and it sounds really good. Rees visited my school for the girls and we were all impressed by the amount of books that she's written in just five years. Some of her books include: Young children Mermaids Mermaid Magic Fairy Gold Fairy Dust Fairy Magic Older Children My Mum's From Pluto The Making of May Cosmo's Magic Sneeze* The Mum Hunt The Mum Detector The Mum Detective *Cosmo is a cat- I named my Tiger after him- LOLOLOL!
  4. The first day at school wasn't a bad one: I got in the Achievement Book for making Cosmo so carefully, we did some singing practice for Oliver Twist and we played loads of spoirts games, like Hockey, Basket ball, Tennis, Babmington and Cricket. I will soon start My Mum's From Pluto by Gwyneth Rees. I hope that I'll enjoy it as much as Shakespeare's Secret!
  5. Thanks, Kell... I couldn't resist swapping my avatar again when I saw that rabbit!
  6. No, I hadn't even heard of Elise Broach until I picked up the book.
  7. I'm heartily anjoying it, Inanna. It's in the Top 3 reads of this year!
  8. Yes, it does, but the history of the diamond and necklace (In other words, Tudors) is quite often referred to by Mrs Roth.
  9. Wow... what a lot of books, Carole!
  10. My rating: 10/10 Review Hero is sick and tired of moving homes all the time for no immediate reason. At least this time she can spend time looking for a long lost 25 carrot gol diamond. How does Mrs Roth know so much about the robbery of the diamond and how her friend inherited Anne Boleyn's necklace? Only Hero and Danny, the most popular boy in town, can find out who stole the diamond.
  11. Nearly finished Shakespeare's Secret. I think I've solved the mystery. And my suspect is... And, mum... I agree you ARE from Venus: so am I. LOL
  12. Awww, don't be  ! I was also 9 when I started reading them and it was last year that I first watched a Harry Potter!
  13. I love Shakespeare!
  14. Yeah, I've still got: . Shakespeare's Secret . Snow Pony . Odious Oceans . Lost Boy . Indie kidd (how to be goodish) . A Series Of Unfortunate Events and I'm FINALLY trying Gwyneth Rees... . My mum's from Pluto
  15. Yeah, I suppose that it's also a good thing that I'm not Nancy as I would have been practicing tons and tons of lines over the school holidays. thank you for making me feel better about it!
  16. And here's one of Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach...
  17. I understand that it had a rude bit in it? I know that because you told me.
  18. My rating: 10/10 Pages : 168 Review: Indie Kidd is fed up with being a child and fed up with being treated like a baby by her mum. So from watching her 19 year old frien Caitlin, she decides what is cool about being an adult. But is she wrong about thinking that being an adult is cool? If you're looking for a laugh, this is the book to pick up!
  19. I went: No 3 No 1 No 2 No 4 , so you're not the only one! I really can't wait for the seventh book and the fifth movie. Have you read all of the books, Copper? I have and think that they're fantastic!
  20. I love your new avatar, mum!
  21. Here is a load down on my favourite book so far....
  22. Tiger wrote: Not anymore... it's now Shakespeare's secret by Elise Broach.
  23. Right now, I'm watching Goblet of Fire. I find that Irish music so annoying!
  24. Me neither and I think that the book is, by a long way, alot better than the movie.
  25. It's one really good book and the movie is excellent as well!
