I know who'd I go for but I don't think you'd be disappointed in books by any of them

I have read them all and yes they are harrowing, what kept me going was a need to know why she did it, there is no excuse for it, but I just wanted to know why!!

Thats typical Richard Laymon writing, actually its rather milder than alot of his other books IMO

Another author who seems to be well liked is Harlan Coben. I have read one of his books Tell No One and I loved it, now I have another 3 sat on my shelf waiting to be read, and another 3 on their way to me. WOW Keeping Faith is awesome, if you haven't read it I highly recommend it, its my favourite of her books so far
