  1. I tend to be mood led. I can move easily between genres according to how I feel. I like to have a wide selection. So if I'm not too tired or stressed I will concentrate on murder / mystery, then have a go at something from a different era and then when tired and stressed with a heavy workload I will go for light- hearted chick lit
  2. Completed Night-time is My Time. An excellent read - I'd forgotten just how much I used to enjoy Mary Higgins Clerk.
  3. Finished Genlemen and Players - a really good book and so as genteel as Joanne Harris's other books! Started Mary Higgins Clark - Night-Time is My Time
  4. Oh Tiger, you love your whales and dolphins You'll have everyone thinking that you were a water delivery. LOL, LOL!! (Was a Caesarian!!!)

I have gained another 3 books in the last 2 days:- Philippa Gregory - Earthly Joys (Green Metropolis) Katherine McMahon - The Alchemist's Daughter (Amazon) Joanne Harris - Chocolat (Free with Good Food Magazine) Just started Joanne Harris - Gentlemen and Players. Too early to make a judgement yet as I've only read 20 pages

  7. Katie Fforde's Flora's Lot really is within this genre. I really enjoyed this one - a real book to sit back and relax with especially when you don't want to think, analyse or reflect on.
  8. Ive only listened to Macbeth on audio - it was a great way to revise for an exam. Not listened to any since though
  9. I'm usually found with a book all year. Even on the beach when everyone else swimming!

  11. Finished the Wedding Day. I really enjoyed it - it had me laughing a couple of times ubtil the tears rolled down my face. Would definately reread this one and recommend it to anyone who loves chick lit

  13. When I did Shakespeare at school, I really enjoyed Macbeth and Midsummer Night's dream Tiger thoroughly liked Macbeth as well and can't wait to do more

  17. Currently 3/4 through Where Rainbows End and I'm enjoying it - much better than her latest one!! Thoroughly loved PS. I Love You - although I did shed a few tears!!! Beautifully written - this one is her best
  18. I really enjoyed this one. It made me realise just how little I know of Spain's history or how advanced the Moors were :oops: Everyone thinks of Katherine being the meek timid woman. This book shows her in a totally different light

  24. The Nun's Tale is OK - it's not one I would rush out and buy - Last couple of nights have have fallen asleep every few pages LOL! :oops:
