Thanks Inver for asking. Things are very rough at the moment but we are trying to keep on top of things with a smile and lots of tears!! We are hoping that 'him up there' will give us a break soon, LOL!. It's good to have friends here to help though
I also very much hesitated. These books are listed in the teenage section of the library. Certainly not offensive but I would rate from 12 if at all worried. By the time girls have had their first day at secondary school they are definately ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
13) I'm sorry but you still have 873 pages to go.
14) He snapped my bra like a Concord taking off, and I was unhooked for love.
34) Grandpa was belly down in the meadow , taking a close-up of a cow-pie, when lightning struck.
 Love 'em!!
Louise - it's my first one and I quite like it, especially as it's set near to where we holiday in Cornwall every year. Which one did you read and what were your thoughts?
I'm now starting to read Karen Hawkins - To Catch a Highlander. Yes I know that it may be classed as a trashy read but i'm enjoying it - alittlr steamy and seductive, but no thinking and that's just what I need
Well this is a first - I'm still only half way, as I'm struggling to read with everything going on! It's not as good as I thought it would (maybe because I've read such a good book last week) be but I will persist
Thanks Nici. I feel ok, but it's an awesome thing to get your head around. My sister is totally devastated and is extremely distressed. She has started to make some decisions about the funeral.
I seriously don't know how she's going to cope - my parents normally support her heavily anyway - emoionally and financially. As a parent it leaves you at best stone cold and secaondly hoping to God it's something you never have to cope with
thank you Michelle your thoughts are greatly appreciated. It certainly is a tragedy - such a simple but freak accident. Tiger and her brother were with us when the call came through - they were very upset. It certainly has been tough answering some very direct questions.
I tend to buy mine or borrow from the library. I have used Green Metropolis to get rid of books I've truly hated - but even that has petered out. I did get rid of a few books a few years ago and now I seriously regret it!!!!!!!!! All of my books are doubled shelved withother books lying horizontally across between the gaps and my bookshelves are groaning under the weight. So bad has it got, that the children have had their videos turned out so that I can use that space - but I will not surrender!! LOL! They literally can take no more but I will just form nice new stacks in other places
