My daughter is just getting over the flu that she got (thankfully or we'd thought it measles lol) the day before we got to Disneyland. She had the flu vaccine too, so. Every week, at least one of her classmates is sick. They are all just little germs!

Ya, my mom had it, as well. All of my grandmother's siblings (obviously before the vacc was around) had it too. Only one of 8 had any lasting problems though, he was sterile. Schools here in our district are SUPER strict about vacc's though. Which, the way these colds and flu's are passed around, is a good thing. We have been sick since week 2 of school.

Totally agree about both books. I would recommend The 100 Year Old Man... over TGWStKoS. I think I liked Nombeko better, but was rooting for the 100 year old man more

We had never heard of Dogzilla before either, and had to read it 3 times to her But that is ok. Apparently, this weeks book is about a rose. Little House on the Prairie is a coming of age story of a pioneer girl that is well known in the US, I thought other places too though or that you might have heard about it from here. It was written by Laura Ingalls Wilder and is about her life. Edit: it is a collection of 9 books.

I can't wait to buy Little House on the Prairie or Judy Blume books for P! They just started going to the school library each Friday, so she is loving that! She brought home Dogzilla last week
