I've finally finished Marie Lu's Prodigy.

Really?? And Season 2 isn't very good? That's terrible! I wonder if my perception will be different since I haven't read the book. I will let you know. I was going to take some episodes on the trip with me, but now everyone is into it, so I can't watch it on my own

Just wanted to let you know, I am on episode 5 of Under the Dome and its really good. It makes me want to read the book, but I feel like they are covering everything really well.

I am not sure if it is the excitement of the trip (5 days to go!) or if it is the book, but I am having the hardest time reading Marie Lu's second novel in the Legend trilogy.

I am glad you are enjoying it- one of us should If Marie Lu's Prodigy doesn't pick up soon, I will take up Ken Follett's World Without End, which I started last month, I will read that til the trip. Although I am very tempted to just start Only Ever Yours now I have all these pretty new books, just sitting on my Kindle...

I live about an hour from San Francisco, so not really, but the Central Valley is close and it is really bad there. Here we feel it because there are a lot of fines on how much water you use, everyone has a brown lawn and it's in the news constantly. I assume almond prices will be through the roof this year Honestly though, I know it's bad, but we have always had a water problem in this state with So CA taking so much water from No CA. And we get a lot of water from Lake Mead/ Hoover Dam. Which I guess is costly too. Kind of strange, getting water from a desert.

I just meant it seems more stable than Amsterdam. But Hawaii is like that too, only humid. It rains on and off through the day, is cloudy and sunny all the time. Here? lol I never post in the weather thread because it'd all the be same, sunny, 24C/ 75F

Ya season 3 is starting soon and I don't think there is any way I can finish a season and 1/2 in a few weeks. Maybe. I don't watch a lot of TV. But I am enjoying it so far. BBC News is fab, it's just, 7 days of it on in the background How was Fringe?
