Ah yes, it's tedious switching colors in crocheting too. I'm not sure if tedious is the right word, maybe just awkward. You have to connect the new yarn color in the current loop/ loops of your work and it's tricky. There are lots of ways, but you can screw everything up! I primarily use what is called variegated yarn, where the color changes as you crochet/ knit. It makes it less boring and I don't feel like I'm just using one color I love getting accessories!

Hmmm... complicated view on 54 Minutes! It's interesting to read your compare and contrast with Nineteen Minutes. It sounds like two completely different books. Do you have a Paddington Bear collection? And yeah! for the Stilton's, I know you love them so.

I just found out that one of my favorite Supreme Court justices, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, came out with a book of her writings. It came out on the 6th. I'm very anxious to read this!

I'm curious how you do two colors per stitch. Not that it would be the same, but I'm struggling with using multiple colors in what I'm working on. I have so much yarn! I just love it and have a collection going on. Duh! I got up early this morning . Edited- I like the giraffe and love all the colors in the bunny pattern. It amazes me, the shading, as in embroidery it's monochromatic.

Well, I was much better this spring, but I stopped for awhile and now am trying to get back into it again. I like doing granny squares and would like to make an afghan out of them- there is a project like what Claire is doing with the quilt squares, called 365 days of granny squares. But I'm not that good Cross stitch looks kind of hard, trying to get the stitches all the same size. Is it a bit like embroidery?

Ya, I was SUPER excited to see the original. My mom was too, being that she liked Bronson, Yul, Robert Vaughan. I've always had a thing for Steve McQueen. The new one was just so good, I couldn't wait to see how it was done originally (actually, the story is derived from a Japanese movie, The Seven Samurai). We rented it on the Amazon Stick and we couldn't believe how boring it was! . No offense lol I just realized how bad that could've sounded . But really, you should give the new one a shot

I'm reading a serial Kindle Single series. It's called Coma Girl and there are six parts, part one came out in July, parts five and six will be out November and December 1st. The chapters are each day of the month, like I'm reading part one from July and am on July 9th. It's about a woman in a coma who can hear what is going on around her. It's not upsetting or disturbing, it's ok but interesting. They range from 90 to 150 pages.

I think this is Kindle number seven . Primarily, I use an 8 inch Fire as a computer (my Surface died) and I've been reading on a 6 inch Fire, which I hate and battle with every day! I hope you like The Swiss Family Robinson, it's only around 160 pages, no more than 200.
