Good afternoon all! I'm back! I'm sorry to disappear for so long but my life change completely four months ago ! Now I live in Amsterdam with my boyfriend! (I'm from Spain for all those who doesn't know). To sum up everything a little, we wanted to emigrate for so long because I was jobless in Spain and in general the situation in Spain is far from good. Finally my boyfriend found a job in Amsterdam and we decided to take the opportunity. Once we got here I started to look for a job and I found one in only two weeks! Awesome! Plus it's the job that I ever wanted to have! The downside it's that it's a temporary contract so in February I'll have to find another one... We share a house with another men for 3 months and finally now we have an appartment for ourselves in the center. But we recently moved so we're still with a lot of fuss (hiring internet and everything...) . Now we are trying to getting used to the cold in Amsterdam, the sooner that it's darker and getting around with a bike jajaja. I'm glad that all of you are fine and I hope to be around more often now!

Hi! It's been a while since I wrote here something but I've been a little busy these past months. Starting as a self-employed is not easy! It's very very difficult to find clients and get your name on the door. I'm still working on it. But at least I have some projects to work on. This year I'm especially happy that the Christmas are here!!! I don't know why but I'm looking forward to it! Do you have any plans or holidays for Christmas? I'm staying at home but I hope to have a good time with my friends and family. Now I'm trying to buy all the presents on time because I don't like the last minute pressure. Hi! My boyfriend is on holidays, he has two weeks so we are enjoying the summer, going to the beach, to festivals and so on. However I'm working because as I started as a self-employee 4 months ago I can't have holidays, I need to have new clients and pay the taxes. The beggining is very hard. Yesterday I went to the beach and now a friends are comming to my house to have lunch and then I hope to go to the angient book fair. I want to buy some books. Athenea I hate mosquitoes too I also used ear plugs as Flip suggested. I hope you will rest tonight. Nollaig congratulations!!!!!! Godd luck with the classes Virginia, it seems a bit difficult.

I did some online courses but I would like to do more. however I don't have the time, it's almost impossible for me right now. I like learning and specially if it's related to my degree. I recommend futurelearn and also edx, it has very good courses and universities, take a look.

Hi! It's been a while since I posted something here! Sorry but lately a lot of things changed. Since April I'm self-employed as I didn't find a job in a company. I'm a graphic designer so I'm designing logos, websites and infographics. I have some projects but for little money, I hope it will be better with time. I'm very busy trying to learn how to get new clients, how to make invoices and budgets and how to improve my little "company". So because of this I won't have summer holidays, but it's ok. I settled a timetable for workig which is from 7.30 to 15.30, usually I finish at 16 or 17hs because every day I have something more to do but it's ok, I have some free time. Now I'm going to Speaking English classes, I want to improve my speaking and pronuntiation. Last week I went to sales and I bought two bikis, one trouser and socks, I need everything so it was a good afternoon. Athenea how was your appointment? Virginia good luck with the Mac and working from home!!! I'm like you now (more or less) and it could be a bit boring working from home. Nollaig what a shame about your holidays!!!

Hi!! I passed my English Test!!!! I'm so happy because I thought I would fail!!!! So now I have the Advanced of Cambridge Certification (C1)!! This week was a bit awful for me because I had an infection in my groin because of a tiny hair that keept under the skin (I don't know how to say it in English, in Spanish the verb is "enquistar" so if anyone speaks Spanish please tell me how to say it correctly) and I had a lot of pain, I barely could walk so I went to the doctor and I had to take some painkillers and one antibiotics and finally I think it's getting better! Now I can walk normaly but sometimes it hurts because the wound is healing. So I couldn't do nothing, I stayed at home and that's it. Next Wednesday it's my birthday!!! I'm turning 26! I think I will go out to have dinner with my parents, my friends have to study and work so I think I will celebrate it on the next weekend. I'm designing my website and re-designing some projects to have a better portfolio so I'm a bit bussy because I want to finish it as soon as possible. And I'm still looking for a job, meanwhile I'm doing some online courses about web programming and design. Athenea How nice that you found a good collar!! Abbie I'm glad that you are better!! How are people in USA? I watched on the news that you had a terrible snow storm.

Frankie yes!!! For Xmas I got 3 of these books so for me is perfect! And today I got 2 more books that are on my wishlist in amazon, so I think that the Kings are computer literate like your Santa jeje. One question: Here in Spain we celebrate the Epiphany with gifts, especially children received a lot of gifts but in some families adults too. Have you got this celebration in your country?

Finally I read 41, my goal was 40 so I'm very happy!!

Happy New Year to all of you!!!!!! I had a really good time, on New Year's eve I went out after the dinner with my boyfriend and some of my friends and it was a really good night, then we went to have chocolate with churros for breakfast! So the first of JanuaryI was really tired!!!! Today we celebrated the Epiphany and I got a lot of gifts!! 2 books (Quidicht Through the Ages and All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr), some lotions, a Game of Thrones's mug, a disk for my pc and money. I'm glad that all of you had a nice Xmas!!! Here in Spain there aren't fireworks and I miss them a little bit because in Argentina is very common

Athenea Yes, I have plans for New Year's Eve, I'm going out with my boyfriend and some of my friends. I hope it won't rain!!!!!! How was your Christmas??? I had a really good time. On 24 we went to had dinner to a friend's house and then I received a lot of gifts!! Books, chocolates, a battery for my mobile phone... So I'm very happy!!!! And on 25 we stayed at home but my boyfriend came to had lunch with us, it was a lovely day. Shelfy It's a beautiful ring!!!! Now I have to think about the gifts for the Epiphany :S.

Athenea thanks!! get well soon!!! I bought all the presents for Santa Claus!!!! I think I never have bought the presents so early jajaja. It's too hot here this week, we are having 18º and it's too much for this season, usually we have between 0 and 10º in December! I hope it won´t rain in New Year's Eve. Do you have plans for that night?

Congrats Shelfy!!!!!!! Athenea I'm glad that evertything went well in the vet. I'm a little sad today becase yesterday I had my English Exam and I think I didin't do it well. I'm strong with reading and this part was extremely difficult (difficult vocabulary and tricky questions) so I think I won't pass.

I am currently reading Cicatriz by Juan Gómez-Jurado (I think it's not yet translated into English)

I read 36 so far. My goal was to read 40.

Athenea taking your pet to the vet it could be a tough task, so I'm glad that your dog is getting used to go. Book I think that this Xmas a lot of people will received this book as a gift jeje.

Thank you all of you!! Today we decorated the flat with the Christmas decorations!!! How beautiful!!! I'm looking forward Christmas this year, specially for my presents, I ask for the Harry Pottter Illustrated book and I want to have it right now jajajaja. This week I'm not doing exercise and I'm feel bad about it but it's raining and I don't want to go running because if I catch the flu it will be awful for my Exam!! Peacefield enjoy the party!

Next Saturday I have my English exam!!!! On the one hand I want to do it right now but on the other hand I will prefer to have it in a couple of months jajaja. Anna a pink tree?? That's original jajja. In my house we don't put up the decorations yet. Athenea here, a lot of drivers are with the phone while they are driving, it's so dangerous!!!

I love to read Christmas books at Christmas!!! So I'm looking for books with this theme. Firstly, I will reread Christmas Carol by Dickens. I have only read once, I think two years ago.
