  2. He has jsut started 3rd at Uni, having done 2yrs HND Sports Coaching at college. He can't play for Uni as he is signed for the amateur team, chances are they would have been in the same league...lol. Think they have another uni team that would probably be just reprsenting the uni as opposed to playing competitively. He opted out of going to trials for it though, as he is very involved with ...

  9. 'Therapy' by Sebastian Fitzek I don't usually go in much for reading thrillers, but Michelle offered this as a bookring and I'm glad I joined up for it. Josy, a 12 year old girl, goes missing. She has an illness and vanishes without trace from her doctor's surgery. Her father Viktor, spends the next 4 years trying to come to terms with and trying to find where she disappeared to. He takes himself off to a remote island but is visited by the mysterious Anna Glass, a novelist, suffering from a form of schizophrenia, who describes in detail events that could well be how Josy disappeared. Could it be true? Viktor takes on her therapy sessions and is drawn deeper in to supposed danger to uncover the horrible truth behind his daughter's disappearance.....but did he do it, did she do it........read it to find out the twists and turns of a page turner of a book. 4/5

Nope...we were robbed Laura. Up 2-1 at half time and well deserved too. Aberdeen got a penalty for their first goal, but the guy went down just outside the box.....ref and linesman forgot their specs. Beat 3-2 in the end ...we played well though. Motherwell got through though last night I see.

Oh dear....defeat for you too Sedge and Andy and Glendale got beat 3-1 at the weekend too....although Andy scored their consolation goal. Better news from Sunday though. His U'13's won 5-2 in first round of the Scottish cup, it was as comfortable win as last weekend, but the managed to get there in the end. We are going to 3rd round of Co-op cup at Pittordrie on Wednesday....Aberdeen v Raith Rovers. A rerun of last season when our Rovers put Aberdeen out the Scottish cup. I know Aberdeen will be up for revenge though, but Rovers are doing well at top of the first divsion at the moment.
  18. I'm sure you will love the quilters Sara

  19. Has anyone else been following this? I was so pleased to see that Emma's Imagination won this...a worthy winner. Beautiful girl, beautiful voice and beautiful songwriting. I hope you uses her £100,000 prize wisely.
  20. I saw he had another one out....would like to read that one. Just finished 'The Cross Country Quilters' ~ Jennifer Chiaverini.
  21. 'The Cross-Country' Quilters by Jennifer Chiaverini This is the third in the series of the Elm Creek quilters. I read the first 'The Quilter's Apprentice. Very enjoyable. The group of friends meet again at Elm Creek quilt camp and begin work on a challenge quilt, each completing a block for the quilt with a piece of fabric that was divided into equal shares. They set themselves a special challenge. No one can start work on their block until they have taken steps to solve her problems and achieve a personal goal. Their close friendship keeps each on track to achieving this and they agree to meet the following year at camp to complete the quilt. Despite the distance that separate them they come together with their love of quilting and share their trials and tribulations. Jennifer Chiaverini writes in a lovely, homely way and draws you into the art of quilting and friendship. If you haven't read any before I recommend you start with 'The Quilter's Apprentice' to find out how the Elm Creek quilters come about. 4.5/5

Andy and Glendale pulled off a draw 1-1 against a usually tough team. Sunday his U'13's had a brilliant win of 10-0 in their second league game. They played really well as a team, passing etc, plus every goal the got boosted their confidence. So 2 wins behind them so far, and they have now sorted out the league properly now, and potentially they are in with a chance hopefully of topping.
