I am part way through it as of last night and actually it gets better, I do like Cassel he is a great main character.

I finished it and started the second one straight away, still its a wierd style and a little frustrating when you are sure there is a back story you don't know about. Have you read Red Glove?

I have had a busy feew weeks at work and the only thing keeping me sane is getting into the studio at the weekend so here are some of the things I have been creating recently This one from a load pf photos I took on what seems a lifetime ago on my holiday some workings on flowers these are fantasy lillies even more fantastical although I loved doing the insects

Just reading White Cat (curse workers book 1) by Holly Black not bad although there are moments when I am convinced there must have been a book before this as it assumes you know morw. I have the second book Red Glove to read after this as well. Trying to just read library books at the moment as not spending any money.

have been re-reading a few things waiting for inspiration to hit but most of the books recommended to me are in the pre-order stage which is really frustrating so although I am still working my way and enjoying Good Omens its all a bit uninspired at the moment. I have just ordered 2 books of Amazon though both Childrens fairy tales The Pied Piper and 12 Dancing Princesses mainly because they are illustrated by one of my favourite illustrators so happy again.

Have read and loved it I got my fix as soon as it came out. Read a lot more since then though but most of its been pretty pants just haven't had the motivation to write it up on here.

Just finished Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and I loved it. Also reading Good Omens happy to be reading so quality after the rubbish I have been into recently.

Ohhh you are catching up and working through them quickly...nice review and they do get better and better...btw have you read Jo Nesbo's Headhunters and were you aware its a film???? I saw it on Amazon last year but was going through another addiction and didn't get it, film reviews seem to be positive...sorry thats really rambling its been one of those days

great interview she is one of my favourite authors on this genre, and Chesil I have read the Nadia books and loved them though slightly dissapointed that she has only written two so far !! -
I love the Olympics, will avoid any disruption as I am in the west country though the torch is going through both mum and dads village and Salisbury so might catch a glimpse. I am sick of the advertising and the corperate sponsorship of everything and the taking of all the seats and you will probably find the stadiums half empty except for the big events anyway and thats where some of the main drama is played out. Still its one of the few sporting big events I love to watch on the tv.

Am loving it, thank god for BBC4 the saviour of Saturday nights. Very dark and I know what yoiu mean about the lead actress it took a while for me to click as well. looks like its going to be a good one.

I downloaded a freebie on amazon last night The Lake - Steven F. Galloway and a friend of mine gave me Good Omens - Neil Gaiman which she got for world book night...happy days, readings been in a bit of a slump I was drawn back into the werewolf stuff and downloaded a load of rubbish need to update list again just need about an hour to do it

I have been reading a lot this weekend just seemed to have time in between cleaning and cooking this weekend, I also managed to pick up 3 books from my local library sale for £1 all of which I have read but none of which I own. I love bank holidays shame to come back to work really

I finished Dorothy - A darker side of Oz - Scot Stanford last night very macabre and twisted but hugely enjoyable hoping he is going to write a next one. The lo and behold this morning I had forgotten that I bought Kelley Armstrong's The Calling the second part of her Gathering trilogy....happy days now I just want work to be over so I can get back to it.
