Louiseog Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I really like the Caroline Lawrence ones, I'm reading a Pompeii one can't remember the title and its at home. Quote
Janet Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I love the Princess Diary films - I bet the books are far better. Sorry to go o/t, but how are you enjoying secondary school? My son is loving it. Quote
Tiger Posted January 31, 2007 Author Posted January 31, 2007 Hi Bagpuss! Glad to hear that your son is enjoying it. I like it, but we get way too much homework sometimes. But yeah I like it. (Got two more level 6's by the way! One for science, one for maths!) (Hey, drama was good today! A great laugh!) And Louise, I like Caroline Lawrence as well! Shame, I've read three of the books and I read the one that was set in Pompeii a few months ago, and I too can't remember the title either! Quote
Liz Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I wouldn't worry about the amount of homework you're getting. You will soon get used to it and it will not seem quite as much as originally did. Hey, and nice going with the Maths and Science! Quote
Sugar Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 And Louise, I like Caroline Lawrence as well! Shame, I've read three of the books and I read the one that was set in Pompeii a few months ago, and I too can't remember the title either! Is it "The Priates of Pompeii"? Tiger Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 Hiya guys. I have been forgetting to write on my list recently as I am so busy. (homework mainly but also something else which is a secret for now). Anyway, I only managed to read half of Jane Eyre, I found it so hard! However, what I read was really, really good. Once I'm about 12 or 13, I'll try and read it. Now I am reading The Tide Knot by Helen Dunmore (I have been reading this since Monday and it's already very nearly finished) x Quote
Lilywhite Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I loved Wormwood as well!!! Good to hear this Tiger, I will definately get around to reading it soon. (homework mainly but also something else which is a secret for now). x See, now you have us all intrigued Nice to see you back though Quote
Angel Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Tiger was tackling the unabridged version of Jane Eyre though and that is why it was so hard! Have you been creating again??? Is that why you've been so quiet Quote
Tiger Posted April 5, 2007 Author Posted April 5, 2007 Finished The Tide Knot. I am reading the other one by Helen Dunmore, Ingo, as I enjoyed it when I read it last year. Quote
Louiseog Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 You probably already know but the Roman Mysteries are on CBBC/BBC1 on Tuesday, look good. Quote
