Nollaig
This is genius. Thank you for posting it. It's hilarious how accurate it is, too. Gave me my first proper laugh of the day.
AbielleRose
That's hillarious (and so true)
Janet
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I saw it posted on another forum and just had to snag it! 13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add, "Me too." I think this is my favourite!
AbielleRose
7 to point out grammar/spelling errors in post about changing light bulbs 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames These two are Nollaig. It really is ironic how true it is!
Nollaig
I think this is my favourite! That's my favourite, too. It's the one that made me cackle and nod my head/clap my hands like a crazed seal. I'm not even kidding either.
Pixie
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy I am just here to announce I am not going to post anymore. I find all this talk about light bulbs highly offensive and this thread is not funny at all. *leaves in a dramatic huff, secretly hoping someone will call my bluff and beg me to stay*
AbielleRose
Don't do it, Pixie! You have to stay, just think of how much we enrich your life with...er...books... yeah, think of the books!

Chrissy
Brilliant stuff. I laughed out loud and totally ignored the bits that I am uncomfortably familar with in my own postings.

poppy
And then there's the one poster who goes totally off topic and rambles on about something entirely irrelevant.

poppy
People make me laugh who go off in a huff, say they will never be back again, then log on several times a day to see if anyone has responded.
Stephanie2008
I love this and I love the responses to this thread My favourite..."1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again". This always happens and I end up having to reread over the past topic to find what I wrote last time

AbielleRose
And then there's the one poster who goes totally off topic and rambles on about something entirely irrelevant. Lightbulbs remind me of that one time at the SPAM museum when we got to taste different varieties of canned meat on pretzel sticks and then they showed us a movie and then they showed us antique SPAM and then they gave us magnets to take home and then they told us to invite all of our friends... Do you guys like how the 80's are coming back into fashion?

poppy
You aren't referring to me, are you? NEVER!! No I hate the 80's fashion, big hair, disco, everyone trying unsuccessfully to moonwalk, darned frustrating Rubik's cube. ..... (I forgot to mention the one poster who gets lead astray by the off-topic and blithely waffles on ) Edited August 11, 2010 by poppy
