Peacefield
John Denver - Annie's Song I have a soft spot for Denver, Noll, but his songs always make me so weepy! 'Take Me Home Country Road' especially, since I always remember my sisters singing it when we would walk the dirt roads up at the cabin. Right now I've got political talk radio on until the baseball game starts in a couple of hours.
Nollaig
The first version of Country Roads I ever heard was a slightly-dance-y remix with loads of clapping and footstamping by some artists whose title I'm sure was 'DJ' something or other. So as you can imagine, that killed the song for me for years, but yes, it's a beautiful song. Annie's Song is my favourite, and really should be sung with helium ( - you need to turn it up, it's in the background and quiet.)
