Nollaig Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 The sound of city traffic through my TOTALLY OPEN window. We thought both living room windows were sealed shut. Our friend used his Brute Man Strength to open one which was only painted over at the joints rather than sealed. And hey presto - fresh air. I'm freezing and loving every second of it.
Peacefield Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Woo Noll! I love fresh and cool air at night I'm thinking you'll be in heaven come wintertime!
Nollaig Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Definitely! Being three floors up is certainly colder!
Roland Butter Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Very funny, Roland! Luckily I'm not having to yell at the Twins tonight, because they are ahead 5-0! Take that, Rangers! Believe it or not, I've actually seen the Texas Rangers play, against the Blue Jays when I was in Toronto a few years back. Having been brought up on real sports like we have in Europe, ( ) I wasn't expecting baseball to be up to much, but I have to say it was a pretty enjoyable evening. And when my friend explained the ...er ... "ownership" history of the Rangers, it made it easy to decide who to support that night

That must've been a good game, since the Blue Jays have always been tough (at least for us) to beat. Real schmeal! I dare you to come back to the US and watch all the baseball, football, hockey and basketball games we have to offer, Roland! I'm glad you enjoyed watching the bball game though I'm unsure of the ownership history of the Rangers, but I'll pretty much boo any team who has a history of beating us . Right now I'm listening to my fave morning political talk show...

You know that bit on the visa form where it asks if you've ever been dedicated to the violent overthrow of capitalism? I'd probably say "Yes" I'm unsure of the ownership history of the Rangers, but I'll pretty much boo any team who has a history of beating us . (No idea why it's turned out like that - that's your quote ...) I believe it involves a certain two-time former "President" of yours (and I use the quotes advisedly).... Chrissy Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 The most excellent 'Rock Art And The X-ray Style' by the incredibe Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. Perfect music for my mood today.

You know that bit on the visa form where it asks if you've ever been dedicated to the violent overthrow of capitalism? I'd probably say "Yes" Oh no. You're one of 'those' people, aren't you Roland?! Remind me never to have a political conversation with you . Currently I'm listening to - Let Me Go by Cake
