Finished Fallen by Lauren Kate this morning. And I don't know how I managed it, but spent about half an hour in the bookshop this morning and came out empty handed! I already have plenty of books to keep me going, and willpower and determination stayed with me long enough to help me overcome the urge to buy at least one book :console:

Ok so I forced myself to read last night, as the book has to go back to the library on Tuesday, and I read 100 pages. It's starting to look really good now.

I also went down to my kids school book fair and came back with;

*The Queen's fool by Philippa Gregory. I have notread any of her books but read reviews on here. It is a hardback with the most beautiful cover and for 50p I had to get it.

*A manual of Graphology

*Uriel's machine - the ancient origins of science by Christopher Knight.

* Self Defense by Jonathan Kellerman

Firefly Lane

Firefly Lane is one of my favorite books :console: Have you ever read anything by Kristen Hannah before?

I'm closing in on the halfway mark of Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. Hopefully I will finish it this weekend so I can get back to The Shining.

After a slow start at beginning of year, I plan to do some serious reading!

It took me best part of two weeks to finish the new Marian Keyes, The Brightest Star in the Sky! Was good but did not have same feel to it as her other books. At times I forgot I was reading Marian Keyes.

Started the year off with a Martina Reilly book, Second Chances.

The Vagners are mentioned and one still pops up every now and then, but really it is mainly about Lisabeth, for me better than the first, I have the third one waiting for me after I finish the book I am reading.

Thanks for the info, Catwoman.

Ian Fleming: Casino Royale ( Kylie, if you ever feel like it, we could do a mini groupreading on this )

We could indeed do that :D I gave away my other Ian Fleming novels but kept this one because it's on the 1001 list. It looks like a short read too.

I read a little more of Something Fresh yesterday and couldn't resist starting The Plucker by Brom. So far it's pretty good.

I also finally got around to putting together my new bookcase yesterday and I spent a large chunk of the day going through all of my books and comparing them to my LibraryThing list. I'm trying to get myself more organised. :console:

Just have to say that the book I'm reading at the moment is without a doubt the best book I've ever read in my life :console:

Feet In The Clouds by Richard Askwith

I read that book last year and absolutely loved it. Some great stories. Love the one about the older guy who swore he could run 100m in a ridiculously fast time...and then did!

She's a wonderful writer! I've only read 2 books by her and she had me hanging on to every word intsantly! I'm looking forward to reading The Queen's Fool :console:

Whoooo hooooo, my mojo has come back, I read 200 pages last night and I only have 100 to go! :console:

The book is getting a lot better now, and I really don't want to put it down. God damn housework! I will most certainly finish it tonight, I may even finish it when I take the kids down the park, I think I do more reading on that park bench than anywhere else.

Hopefully I will be able to start, The Girl who kicked the Hornests' nest. I seriously can't wait and I have bumped it up my pile. I am so utterly excited.

I couldn't decide what to start next, and I've ended up starting three different books, and already having picked up The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad a few weeks ago and putting it to one side, I now have four books on the go!

Yesterday, I started Agaton Sax and the Diamond Thieves by Nils-Olof Franz
