Rawr Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Yes, that emote is quite apt for my feelings towards those cheese slices
Stephanie2008 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 The idea of processed cheese makes me feel quite ill. They don't look, smell or taste like cheese so why bother!
ned Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Cheese slices should be used for torture, there is no need for such a disgusting food stuff
Rawr Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I remember when i was in a hurry at the supermarket and i grabbed them as opposed to actual cheese. I got home, made some ham and cheese sandwiches, took a bite, and then proceeded to carefully remove every trace of the stuff from the middle of the sandwich and enjoyed them without cheese that day Evil stuff!
ned Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Also in the video for The Offspring's Original Prankster there is a young man putting dog sh*t into his dads processed cheese sandwich. That always comes into my head when i see that stuff.
AbielleRose Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I hate burnt food too, makes me real angry. I think tomorrow i may have quarter pounders, new potatoes and sweetcorn. Yes, i'm planning ahead. This is subject to change as i am usually a pretty indecisive person. I have never heard of doing waffles in a toaster Are you serious?! That is what I had for breakfast this morning! Eggo waffels. Leggo my Eggo. They are good but no substitute for the real thing. Tonight I am thinking a bowl of tomato soup with some goldfish crackers thrown in sounds good!
Stephanie2008 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Ok...did you really have to share that bit of information ned?
ned Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Well i don't like to suffer alone CaliLily, are they potato waffles?
AbielleRose Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Potato waffles? I've never heard of such a thing!
ned Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potato_waffle They rock. Not in a toaster though
Peacefield Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 But the real question is, do they make potato smilies in waffle form?! I'm more of a pancake person myself, but I wouldn't turn down homemade or Leggo toaster waffles if they were offered . Tonight I'm heading out to eat to our fave Indian restaurant so I'm debating as I type on what I'll have... YUM!
Rawr Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I'd appear on a Waffle Love documentary, i'd love to come across as one of the obsessed psycho's they usually have in those types of things haha. Pancakes are a good shout too Peacefield
Peacefield Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 They are! Especially if you get them from Polly's Pancake Parlour in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. Heaven on a plate!
ned Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Especially if you get them from Polly's Pancake Parlour in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. Bit of a walk for me so i'll take your word for it lol
Nicola Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Waffle Love Sounds like a Channel 4 documentary  I'm sure I've seen that documentary listed on 4OD!! All this talk of waffles is making me want to delve into the depths of my freezer where I know there's a box lurking.....oooooh waffles and beans!
Stephanie2008 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Bit of a walk for me so i'll take your word for it lol Walk and a swim. I go away for half an hour and weird channel 4 documentaries are being made. There is something about waffles though. I love them too.
AbielleRose Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Question: regular waffles or with blueberries?
Rawr Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I have never actually tried the other kind of waffles from the potato ones!
Stephanie2008 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Me neither. I just get the Birdseye ones out of the freezer
Nicola Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Potato waffles are the ones I have most regularly but I also love sweet waffles with banana and icecream. Wetherspoon's sells them for about
Talisman Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I don't think you can beat potato waffles with a nice fried egg personally. I much prefer the savoury to the sweet. I can't eat the sweet ones anymore anyway, since no one makes a gluten free version. Today though we had pasta with a rather tasty Jamie Oliver sauce with tomatoes and rosemary, with broccoli and carrots.

Today though we had pasta with a rather tasty Jamie Oliver sauce with tomatoes and rosemary, with broccoli and carrots. We have a brand that makes a really good gluten free waffle. I used to eat them because they were healthier and you couldn't tell the difference (except they were about twice the price). Wish I could remember the brand name for you. Tonight there are no waffles on my plate, only Chinese food. Egg drop soup, crab rangoon and beef fried rice, yum!!
