Nolliag, thanks for putting my pic in proper place. I'm still trying to learn where things go here.

I'm so excited to see everyones pictures now!

Wonderful pictures Weave! I love the mountains in the background.

Thanks Weave and Chrissy!

I've been looking back at some of the pictures and have to say Wow!

Echo, I love the one of Mt Rainier! I've always wanted to go there.

We were in Seattle yearrrrs ago, but didnt drive to that mountain.

We did go to Mt Shuskan. Have you been there?

I went down to the south coast over Easter and took these. We also spotted a seal close up on some rocks, I'm not sure if he was sick or injured because he was in the same spot the next day and hadn't appeared to have moved..

Susie, I love your photograph there. It has that "That's a big tree!" wow factor. :D

Paula, two great and very different pics. I especially love the first one. :cry2:

Thanks Chrissy and Susie :irked: they worked out really well considering I took them on my mobile/cell phone :D

This might give someone a giggle. My eldest son rang up the other day, he and a mate decided they were going to put a couch up a tree .....as you do. They thought it would be a good place for them all to have a drink. Mate was up a ladder, son was heaving the couch up, mate fell off the ladder and landed on son. Son had to have physio on his shoulder. I thought it was just some random tree in their back yard until a few days ago when I visited and he pointed out the tree.

That's lovely Denise! I get such a feeling of achievement when I manage to capture a fast-moving animal in a perfect shot. I've managed it on two particular occasions that I can recall. Both times I fluked it. :irked:

Denise, that's beautiful! I've managed to get lucky and capture some gulls in some of my photos, but I don't think I'll ever be able to catch a butterfly with my camera!

Thanks guys..:)

My next feat will be trying to get a dragonfly in flight but I think that will be a very hard one to get, they go so darn fast!

No gulls here Echo....but flying ones are on my list in the next few months.I love seagulls and miss them!..;)
