Talisman Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I have never (to my knowledge) dreamt about books that I have read, but I used to dream all the time about the one that I wrote ! The usual ego stuff, a mega book launch, seeing it in the window of Waterstones and so on ... I am still waiting for it to happen ! Quote
~Andrea~ Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I once had a dream that I was great gatsby Lol. That just reminded me, when I was reading the Hobbit I dreamt I was Bilbo Baggins. Quote
Lu Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 if i read before i go to sleep, then yes i always dream about my books. its brilliant Quote
Escargot Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 While reading "The Dark Tower", I dreamed about it for weeks! The whitch (TDT IV "Wizard and Glass") scared me to hell, don't know exactly why. Quote
whitegold Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I've had a few dreams about the books I was reading at the time, but I mostly dream about books in general (the actual book, not the story) Lately i've been having a recurring dream of my mom building me a massive book case, carrying it up to my room with one hand, and the rest of the dream is just me placing each and every book I own onto the bookshelf. Im probably having this dream because i REALLY need a new book shelf! Quote

Christie Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Oh YES! I have dreamed many a dream of me with mangled legs in house far away from everyone with the crazed Annie Wilkes breathing over me with a bloodied axe! *Shudders* More like nightmares not dreams! Quote
Polly Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 All the time if I get into a book, or program, I always dream of being in that world and a lot of the time kissing the characters. Quote
Peacefield Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I always dream of being in that world and a lot of the time kissing the characters. Can I have your dreams please??!! LOL Quote
rach.at.the.disco Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I don't remember ever dreaming about a book. I tend to forget most of my dreams anyway so even if I did I doubt I would remember. Most of the people in my dreams are real people like my family and friends or Leland Chapman lmao or about snakes which is more of a nightmare. Quote
Rawr Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Leland Chapman, that sounds like Dog the Bounty Hunter!! I hope i never dream about him, he's pretty scary with his bushy blonde hair. I actually had a dream recently about the Dark Tower, it was interesting. Sometimes it seems like a dream when your reading that series, you get so caught up in it. Quote
Glowmay Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 All the time if I get into a book, or program, I always dream of being in that world and a lot of the time kissing the characters. Yeah, fictional characters are just so easy to fall in love with, aren't they? Quote
Peacefield Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Yeah, fictional characters are just so easy to fall in love with, aren't they? You can say that again, Glowmay!! I just need to figure out how to induce these dreams that people keep talking about on this thread, which I never seem lucky enough to have . Quote
Genevieve Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 oui, I dream about sequences of events I have read, and of course nonsense along with them once in a while. But ah me, I also dream about cartoons I have seen, that is terrible, most terrible and I feel fatigued when I wake up. Quote
Kate Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Well last night, I dreamt about Twilight! Haven't read it/watched it for ages but it still made it into my dreams - crazy! Quote
Escargot Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Aren't Stephen King inspired dreams great?? oh not all dreams..... especially nightmares Quote
lexiepiper Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Last night I kept dreaming about the vampires and weres from the Sookie series, it was a tad weird tbh Quote
Ben Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Don't think I dream of books that I have read but I don't always remembered my dreams. Although, I do remember them more than some people.. and they always seem to be about friends, family, girl-friend.. Quote
Escargot Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Last night I dreamed of Edward Cullen. I've finished the Twilight-book yesterday Quote
