I think it's by Sally Beauman but don't hold me to that.... a quick check on Amazon and yes it is. Another great tale that added extra dimesions to the book I already loved. Kat :catlove: Quote
Angel Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I loved Rebecca - & Rebecca's tale is on my 'to be read' pile! Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice are firm favourites that have been reread several times! I also adore Thomas Hardy Books and will reread these for ever more!!!! Tenant of Wildfell Hall also waiting to be read Quote

It is the best book I have read in years. I probably would never have picked it up if not for the fact it was a reading group book. I am so glad I did. I don't know what I expected from Jonathon Livingston Seagull, but somehow I wanted more than I got and was left feeling deeply disappointed. Quote

Quite good, reminiscent of Labyrinth as there were three stories going on - a modern one, a Victorian one and an ancient one. 8/10 (slow going at first). Also read How I Paid for College by Mark Acito. Blah story but some excellent wordplay (calling a psychiatrist's patients cryents - genius!). 6/10 Quote

I'm about 3/4 of the way through the Third Victim, and I'm sure I recognise Rainie and Quincy. Maybe I've read others and just don't remember. Quote
