Kreader
When I was a teen I'd try to read in the car/bus etc since I had an hour plus commute to school and the same to return home. I'd get nauseaous so when someone told be this could be the reason I stopped. It turned out that stress and adolescence were the cause of the nausea since in the maternal side of my family migraine headaches were common in the teens when stressed out. The nausea was the aura or start of the headache by the time I got home the headache would kick in even when I wasn't reading. Now I read when I travel and thankfully migraine headaches are rare. Polly
I start to feel sick after a while and have to put it down and give it a rest, but not for long!
princess
I start to feel sick almost instantly in the car. I'm fine in trains though and usually coaches
Christie
Yeah I know what you mean! In a quick ten minute journey I always try and fit a couple of chapters in but as soon as a long car journey arises I can't even pick up a book even though I really want to! However, I can say that sometimes I can read on a coach when travelling so a little compromise.
SweetiiPie85
I always read in the car, however I do start to feel sick after a while and have to take a rest. I don't have any problems reading on the train though.
