Charm Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 My OH doesn't watch any sport whatsoever . Its brilliant! I never have to sit through a footie or rugby or anything. He is a bit addicted to Call of Duty 5 online, which he plays on the main tv in the living room . Quote

Guest ii Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 (edited) What is this, some kind of high-stakes poker game?! I see your nephew, and raise you a husband . . . Oh man! I hope not. I'd be playing with very few chips if that were the case. An only child of only children, you see... *laughs* I'm usually the one that disappears during sports events. *laughs* My friends hate that. I actually made them move our party location (it was a huge students party few years back, with many different 'spots', and I made our group leave the latest one we were in) momentarily into my place so I could watch the end of FIN-USA game in hockey World Champs. I did let them raid my liquor, though. Edited February 7, 2009 by ii Quote

Ceinwenn Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 That was a gift, Ben! Andy Goode didn't really score a try! Thank the video ref for that one, not that it matters because England were always going to win this one! Quote
Ben Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Why didn't he really score the try? Don't know what you mean. Quote
Ceinwenn Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 great thread title - got everyone scared. Glad my bf doesnt watch sports either! I like rugby & do watch some of it with him - we even go to the Autumn Internationals together, but 5 weekends of nothing but rugby...........no thanks! It means that we can't do anything during that period, cause heaven forbid if we miss the pre-game stuff which starts hours before the first match. Quote
Ceinwenn Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 It was a knock on - goode didn't ground the ball, he knocked it on! Quote
