Ben Mines Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 I don't have an Amazon wish list per se (mostly because I think their service is rubbish and never use them) but I have made a list of around 170 book I want to buy. Quote
Echo Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I just bought myself a bunch of books from my wishlist. It cost over $100! Quote
lexiepiper Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Ooo that sounds nice, what did you get? Quote
Ceinwenn Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I have a total of 5 books on my Amazon wishlist: Always Looking Up by Michael J Fox Oooh, I didn't know he had a new book! Guess I know what I shall be buying at the weekend! Quote

Janet Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I have a notebook. I'm addicted to notebooks, so it makes sense. And that way I always have it with me, if I happen to stop by at a bookstore. I do that too! I have an Amazon wishlist as well which could do with a tidy - it's got 164 things on it at the moment but I really could do with tidying it as I've probably bought some things from it - I haven't looked at it for a while! Guest ii Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I do that too! It's just so much easier when you see a good review or someone recommends something here, just take a pen and write it down, as opposed to logging on the Amazon and ... the notebooks's there. Quote
Jack Dawkins Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 84 on mine at the mo and 11 on .com. I did have 800 on there last week but I deleted it because the amount of books I'm after was getting me down:irked: and it did'nt even take into account all second handers I would like either Quote
hume Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) 6 comics. Total cost Edited February 2, 2009 by Kell Inserted capitals! Quote
chesilbeach Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Currently just 15, but I'm (almost) determined not to buy anymore until I reduce my TBR list by about two thirds! Quote
crotalus_p Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 I just added 37 to my whish list Quote
Charm Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I just added 37 to my whish list tut tut .... I've cleared all mine like a good girl . No more buying until I've finished a few Quote

Andaira Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I use Barnes & Noble, not Amazon, but nonetheless, I don't tend to use wish lists on the websites. If I were to do so though (since I do have a list of my 'wish list' books saved up on my own computer files), the list would be...100-120 or so. Quote

BookBee8 Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Before joining this forum - 2 After joining this forum - 32 Damn you Ditto! I didn't even have a wishlist before this forum. Now I've got 31 books I'm desperate to buy. I don't use Amazon though. I buy from Play.com! Quote
Ceinwenn Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Mine has a total of 2 books - for some reason I am really reluctant to start a tbr list - I think it would just depress me to see all those lovely books I want to read but simply cannot afford to buy. At Quote
Lorelei Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Mine is about 12 books long at the moment, all of them by favourite authors and not yet released, the minute they become available I order them, I just can't stop myself! Quote
BookJumper Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 35, divided into nice little sublists because I'm OCD like that - although they should be adjourned to include the 43 written down in pen in my book journal's own wish list, about half of which you guys are responsible for... feel bad now. It's gotten to the point where I'm on the verge of running out of space and needing a new bookjournal... . Quote
Nicola Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Mine is tiny....maybe 5 books purely because I prefer to buy books from shops and Amazon in my very last option. I think the books on my wishlist are textbooks for uni too! I'm not very good am I?! Quote
BookJumper Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Having adjourned as well as (because I'm a very bad girl) shopped around a bit, the grand total now reads 94 items across 10 sub-wishlists . Quote
Nicola Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Having adjourned as well as (because I'm a very bad girl) shopped around a bit, the grand total now reads 94 items across 10 sub-wishlists . Dear me!!!! That's a lot of books! Quote
BookJumper Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Dear me!!!! That's a lot of books! Somehow, the grand total has just transmuted into 104 although, all of ONE of those is a DVD. The fact it's a DVD based on a play itself based on Shakespeare's Hamlet is besides the point, I'm sure you'll agree. ... not that I can afford to buy any of this . Quote
