Louiseog
Louise - there have been some evenings I haven't got beyond 10 pages recently:lol: Its terrible isn't it and oh is as bad, found ourselves snoring on the settee at about 5pm this afternoon we have a five year old who is heavily into having nightmares at the moment so about 2am we have a screaming child who then fidgets in with us till one of us takes him back, and then this morning he arrives again at 7am and spills my water all over the bed
Angel
Poor little mite, but I do remember those nights so well!! The smallest ends up with the most of the bed, spreadeagled like a star and often the only one sleeping peacefully in the end
rwemad
Hi Angel I am new here so just thought I would say Hi and to say how impressed I am with your organisation. You have a well varied list there, many of which I confess to having never heard of. I have read a few Jill Mansell, including the two on your list. Her books are very easy to read and are all fairly similar in content. They can be very amusing as well as light and are a great summer, beachy read I think - no peace required etc. I pick them up when I know I will be unable to concentrate too hard;). I think I may try and follow your example and organise myself a little better..... mmmmm, we'll see.
Angel
Thanks rwemad and welcome to the forum. I do like a wide range of books although I tend to stick to my favourite genres . I must confess that I do enjoy Jill Mansell- fantastic for when you do not want / can't concentrate. Moving onto Kate Morton - The House at Riverton. I must start to tackle the growing TBR pile and get out less library books at a time !

Angel
I loved The House of Riverton. So sad in places, really made me think about the after effects of the war and how it effected the society of the 1920's. A lovely touching novel Now moving onto a light hearted book - Alan Titchmarsh Love & Mr Devon
