poppy
That sounds great Michelle, I love Dawn French especially in The Vicar of Dibley. Does she talk much about her marriage to Lenny Henry? I really like him too.

Michelle
That sounds great Michelle, I love Dawn French especially in The Vicar of Dibley. Does she talk much about her marriage to Lenny Henry? I really like him too. Yes, she talks about 'Len', and also about their daughter. It's not been the most straight forward marriage, and she's very honest about that.. but she obviously loves them very much.

Stephanie2008
I really want to read this. I think it's going to be on my Christmas list - as well as a few others.
Janet
I want to read this too! I think I'll see if the library have it at some stage because I don't like buying paperbacks. If anyone does want it, it's half price in Tesco at the moment.
Icecream
I really want this one too. I love Dawn French and it would be good to understand her character better. I glimpsed it earlier in the christmas magazine I picked up from Tesco.

Anika
Didn't realize she had written a book about herself since I haven't seen it over here. She's one of my favorite comediennes though so I will look for this one!
deneng
I have just read this as my first ' I am now retired and can read again' book. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Dawn French's humour shows throughout the book but there is a serious thread running through it as well. I loved reading about her chilhood , teenage years, her family and also about her adult years. Thank you Michelle for introducing me to this book. Oh well on to my next one now. Looking forward to it.
