Charm Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I'm making risotto tonight for dinner mmmm I had planned on doing that tomorrow night! Tonight its leftover Sunday roast chicken with baked potatoes and cauliflower cheese (no cheese for the rest of the year after this )
Charm Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 How come no more cheese, Charm? Well no more full fat stuff . Healthy eating kick .. ate way too much over xmas and need to shed a few pounds
bethany725 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Good luck with it! I gave up cheese a while back, despite my intense love for cheese plates. Part of a no dairy, no meat thing. Difficult at first , but it eases up and once you start realizing how many substitutes there are for cheese (soy, etc), you don't feel like you're missing out too much anymore.
Charm Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I do love cheese, but I'll still be having cottage cheese and low fat cheese spread to ease the loss!
Bronwen Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Ooh I love cheese, on Friday we had a lovely stuffed crust pizza filled with cheese from Pizza Hut, delicious Oops, sorry lol!

BookBee8 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I had a late lunch so am about to get dinner in a moment. I'm going to be naughty and have a Chinese takeaway. There's one literally across the road from my house and it's so hard to resist!
Ceinwenn Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Tonight we had Haddock which I coated in a garlic breadcrumb, colcannon & peas. It was lush!
Guest ii Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I hate this thread. No matter how shortly I've just eaten, it always makes me hungry. Let alone now that I haven't even had dinner yet! in other words, sounds delicious, Ceinwenn
~Andrea~ Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Tonight we had roast dinner actually the roast dinner we were supposed to have yesterday but were just too darn tired to cook when we got in. Lamb escalopes, roast potatoes and parsnips, peas, green beans and gravy.
Nollaig Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 i ended up having no dinner Just never got around to cooking it.
lexiepiper Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 i ended up having no dinner Just never got around to cooking it. Tut tut, that's terrible!
Nollaig Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Tut tut, that's terrible! Ah I'll have dinner today instead. I don't get home from college til 5 most days, and then when I've sat down, read emails, caught up with the forum and inevitably ended up chatting on msn, it gets to 7 or 8pm and I just can't be bothered cooking! Today I kinda want pizza....
