KimmyS Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I love seeing all your book shelves and you organise your stuff. I am quite weird because I don't keep books after I read them (only the ones of John Grisham and Charlaine Harros stay with me). Only the ones that I know I will re-read stay, the rest goes to charity. at the moment I think I only have about 20 odd books on my shelf Quote
Chrissy Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I found the perfect book shelves! I wonder if IKEA do them! Quote
Fi. Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hahah, that's kinda creepy! That's really creepy Quote
Charm Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Oh good grief!! At least it would have built-in bookends! Quote

Nollaig Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Is it wrong that I thought about how exactly what would work, looked at the picture again and then realised that the positioning of each man is such that there would be a bookend at each end, one on the bottom and one on the top? *sigh* Quote

Michelle Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Chrissy, that's given me the best laugh of the day. However, I'm wondering.. the ones facing downwards.. where have they tucked it? Quote

Maybe they are fitted with a little light fixture, but are discreetly tucked away when not in use. I mean, clearly it is daytime in this picture, so you wouldn't use the little (or large) lights until sunset. The only other alternatives are photoshop or clenching! Quote

I just spat Cherry Garcia frozen yogurt everywhere at the thought of light fixtures Quote
Nollaig Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 The light fixtures totally need to be touch sensitive. You know those metal ones, you touch it, it lights up dim, touch it again, it gets brighter... Quote
Michelle Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 This is fast becoming my favourite thread ever! Quote

Nollaig Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Now all we need is one of the outnumbered men on this forum to come in and go - 'What... the....' Quote
