Yes, Lidl's great. They have lots of continental stuff that you don't see in the big chains, and usually at attractive prices too - that really appeals to the sauerkraut-munching Teuton in me :). In fact, most of the so-called "budget" chains are worth a look - you can often come out with some real bargains (obviously, I exclude "Ghetto" from that statement ....:D)

I love being able to get some of the food I used to have when we lived in Germany.

I also bought aload of knitting cotton and my mum got a sewing machine last time we were there!!
