Bad doggies!  I remember our lab used to love rolling in it, we'd never had a dog do that before so weren't sure what it was but were soon enlightened....it's really hard to get off as well isn't it? You have about one second when they go into that pre-rolling position to stop them, but once they're down that's it!

At least it was dry. On wet days, this is me...

Oh yes, it's even worse when it's wet, or they've got wet fur, it sticks even more!

OMG -someone once told me that the fox stuff is a toned down version of skunk spray.  Thankfully we don't have many badgers where I live.

@Hux while I’m sorry for the stink you undoubtedly had to endure, I am very happy that you decided to record them so we could all share the joy of sausage dogs rolling in the grass .

This is our new friend Ragnar (Rags to his friends) whom we adopted a couple of months ago. Strangely enough it turns out he's the 5 X great-grandson of our Jez whom we adopted in 2001!

 

We needn't have worried about how Dino, our senior Spotty would react, there was an instant Bromance  and they adore each other, Your Ball, No, it's My Ball is the very best game!
