Madeleine Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I went to a paint pouring workshop last week, the pictures have only just finished drying. Here are the best two, the 3rd one was a disaster as I used light colours which just merged into a blob, then tried using a darker colour, which just made it look like something had been spilt on it! 2 out of 3 isn't too bad I suppose. 4 Quote

Madeleine Posted April 13 Posted April 13 As the weather was nice I decided to have another go at paint pouring, outside this time, and did these two: 3 Quote
lunababymoonchild Posted April 19 Posted April 19 My latest Bargello wall hanging. The hanging cord was lucetted - not done that in a long time! 6 Quote
Madeleine Posted April 20 Posted April 20 What does lucetted mean? Did you make the whole thing? Quote

It’s a tool for making cords: this is what mine looks like The rest I sewed myself from a kit that I got for my birthday 2 Quote

Instructions come in the kit and all the stitches are straight up and down. I can just about count to four (you count how many boxes in the canvas a stitch uses, printed on a diagram) which is how I got there. 2 Quote
Madeleine Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Currently into mosaicking, here's a sunflower I did today - the pointed petals were a bit difficult to cover exactly,so the grouting is a little uneven - and a coaster I did the other week. But at least the tiles are all pre cut. 2 Quote

muggle not Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) These are a few of the Tom Clark Gnomes that I collect. Tom Clark was a sculptor, among other professions, that was well respected in the U.S. First photo is named N.O. Evels See if you can figure out why. Second photo is named Saturday. Fourth photo is named 7-UP and is much more "shiny" than you see as I haven't dusted it for ages. 😀 el Edited May 15 by muggle not 2 Quote
