Angel Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I've never tried either. Aren't they in danger of sinking in the middle if you don't follow some strict rules, like get the oil really hot, etc I think I'll stick with Aunt Bessie for now They are very easy!! Just make sure that your oil is smoking hot and don't open the oven door during the cooking time. At least by making them yourself you will gain another skill, make them cheaper and know exactly what is in them!
angerball Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I had Chicken Fried Rice from the local Chinese Take-Away. This is getting to be quite the habit.
happyanddandy Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 A quickly put together lamb stew with mash which was really tasty - all that lamb fat from the neck fillet ! Pat on the back for me! Virtuous strawberries and grapes for pud with..... cream ha ha!

Kylie Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Went to Chili's last night for dinner. Very nice, but HUGE meals. I wish sometimes that they would give you an option of a half-size serve! I had monterey chicken (grilled chicken topped with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese and tomato) with a side of mashed potato and fries. Yum!
angerball Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 ^Yum, I had that last night. Tonight it was Chilli Beef Nachos.
Guest ii Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Spinach and garlic risotto with some lovely Sicilian white wine and freshly baked bread.
Kylie Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I'm going to Panarottis for dinner with a group of girls. Pizza, pasta etc. Yum! Looking forward to it.
Echo Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 We might go out later for a Valentine's Day dinner, but most likely we'll stay in and have whatever we pick up from the store.
Icecream Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Fish fingers tonight. Why will Katie eat fish fingers, but when we have a cod, or other fish, fillet and mash, she won't eat it.
Echo Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I would really like to have pizza again, because I didn't eat much of the last one. But, my boyfriend will most likely start making me feel guilty if I want to order it again. (I'm supposed to be losing weight, remember!)
happyanddandy Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Ham, double egg and chips with pickled onions and ketchup
madcow Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Gammon, double egg, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and a few chips.
