I usually drink coffee, but there is nothing like a cup of tea sometimes. I like Yorkshire and Earl Grey best. Tetleys is also good. I haven't been able to drink PG tips for years so no idea what it is like. My absolute fave though has to be rooibos.

While out on the mobile library the other day we stopped at a house in the middle of nowhere. When I went to let the lady know we'de arrived she was busy filling a tea pot for us - in addition she had prepared a tray (complete with cloth) of sugar bowl, milk jug, cups and saucers and silver teaspoons for us. How civilized to be out in beautiful countryside, with the sun shining drinking tea out of a china cup - very English I thought.

Yes, it is British to me, too, Fish and Chips! Whenever I've lived abroad I've always had me teapot and strainer close to hand, that and Marmite. A little bit of home!!

Lol yes. I couldn't live without Marmite!

I'm not a great fan of tea, the worst tea I ever had was on the isle of Lewis. My neighbour had the pot sitting on her Aga all day, she just added hot water or more tealeaves periodically. It was sooo stewed!

I cleaned out my tea cupboard last night. I had tea from years ago. A couple of unopened packages of French tea had best by dates of August of 2002! Some boxes of Harrod's tea were from about 1993-1996...I know because my parents brought them back for me after one of their trips to London.:D:lol:
