Freewheeling Andy Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 I find the official introductions on the Penguin Classics tend to be pompous, dreary and annoying and detract from the books themselves. Certainly on mine for the blog, the real foreward written at the time by the co-author is fascinating; the introduction by the dreary academic is, well, dreary and academic.
