A clue: this is a bit of a foody book. Would've made a good noms for the foody RC a while ago, now that I think about it.

I can't remember the full name but is it the Fried Green Tomatoes book? Can't remember the author either and if I look it up I'd be cheating hee hee! Maybe someone can help me out if I'm right?

Ok here goes...

 

The red light dimmed on the coals. Up the hill from the river a coyote yammered, and a dog answered from the other side of the stream. The sycamore leaves whispered in a little night breeze.

Fair enough :blush2: I will try wracking my brains instead (so don't worry about the noise outside .. it's not the wind it's my brain rattling :D)

Yes I know.. but you were enjoying yourselves so much I felt like ruining the game..

So, my turn now,

 

"I first met *** not long after my wife and I split up. I had just gotten over a serious illness that I won't not bother to talk about, except that it had something to do with my miserably weary split-up and my feelings that everything was dead."

Well done, by the way, I've also read the book but had no idea :D Chalie picked a part which was not the easiest... Well done chalie! :D
