Percy Faith made lovely music. I also love Mantovani's Orchestra. Both had quite unique sounds.

(This song was written and sung in 1937 by Arthur Smith. I meet and talked with Arthur Smith's son in 1991 - 1992 at a music gathering in Asheville, NC where people that played string instruments (primarily fiddle) came in from the mountains every Friday and played in a local woman's huge garage type building. It was the greatest music experience of my life. There are a couple other stories that goes along with this 🙂 )

I remember this one too, a bit of an oddity especially for The Carpenters.
