Karen1
Hi everyone. My name is Karen and I'm a bookaholic. I'm 25 years old and from Scotland and I love everything to do with books! I can't stop buying them for a start and I'm running out of room to keep them, but if I venture into a bookstore, the chances are I'll leave with at least one book. I blame all these three for two offers etc...I mean I just can't resist! I like a wide range of genres, other than sci-fi as I just can't seem to get into them, but I do tend to go through phases. Just now I'm focussed mainly on chick lit books. Mainly because they are easy to read, light-hearted and are perfect after a long hard day at work. Anyway, feel free to stop by and say hi and if there's anything else you'd like to know, just ask.
Maureen
Hi and welcome to here Karen. I'm sure that after a while in here, your to be read(TBR) pile will become a huge pile, and then a mountain of mammoth proportions. It is one of the hazards of membership. ;-))
Kell
Ooh! Another one from Scotland! Hello & , Karen. I hope you'll enjoy it here. Where is Scotland are you?
Karen1
Thanks for the warm welcome. Maureen my 'to read list' is already huge and I'm trying to work my way down it before buying any more but I only tend to knock a couple of books off of it, before adding on a few more. So if anything it gets bigger. Kell, I'm from a town just outside Glasgow.

JudyB
Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy it here - it's good fun. I too have a problem with space for books and get round it by borrowing from the library but as I still love to buy books we have run out of bookcase space. Wraith*
Hi everyone. My name is Karen and I'm a bookaholic. . You can get help free on the NHS, there is a waiting list so enjoy the forum until then
madcow
Hello and welcome Karen, it's not only the 3 for 2 offers it's the supermarkets i.e. Tesco and Asda, those books are the worst they just jump into your basket and refuse to go back on the shelves
Karen1
Thanks for the welcome. princessponti - trust me I don't need any encouragement, but it's good to have some fellow addicts. Wraith - if there is help on the NHS no doubt the waiting list is huge, and to be honest with you I don't think I actually want help. I may have admitted I have a problem, but a part of me is still in denial. madcow - books in supermarkets are a bargain so in a way you are sort of saving money too. Or at least that's my theory!
