Revenge

I think she knew all along, unless....

she only knew a few details about Jack before. But I think she had to know since Jack's dad owned the bar and Jack's last name is Porter. She obviously knows that she had a baby in the Hamptons when her marriage to Conrad crashed. I assume that Carl Porter is Jack's biological father now. And that she left Jack with him and took off. To me it seemed like she had never planned to tell Jack the truth - until she heared that Conrad had been causing him trouble.

About Patrick and Victoria:

This is his second murder and Victoria's 3rd. They are offing people faster than Aiden. What had my jaw drop was when they said THEY were the victims. Fine, Victoria was indeed Jimmy's victim. But letting him die 30+ years later doesn't mean that she and Patrick are victims. Patrick brought Jimmy there in the first place. And committed arson on the gallery. Those 2 are a dangerous duo! Victoria's murder victims were all far from innocent, but Patrick killed a priest and doesn't seem to have any bad feelings about that.

And then there's Daniel...

He's shot 3 people now, and as him mother and brother, he feels justified and also sees himself as a victim. I can see why Conrad has turned against him. Conrad is a villain too, but he doesn't play the innocent victim. And when Daniel cannot even feel bad that he let Lydia be framed for his crime, Conrad is seeing red.

What has me wanting to throw up is Daniel telling Charlotte that it's "them against the world" but refusing to tell her that he shot Emily and Aiden in season 2. I very much doubt that Charlotte wants to be Team Daniel anymore if she were to find those things out. He is using her as a shield against Conrad now, that coward.

The apples (Daniel and Patrick) don't fall far from the Victoria tree, do they?!

I haven't kept count of all the deaths - I didn't realise they were quite that bad!

Thanks for clearing up the Jack/mother thing. I understand better now!

Episode 3.15 was such a big snore. I just don't see what is so fun about Patrick and Jack as characters. They are so boring. IMO.

But I have hopes it will be fun again on Sunday. Emily re-focused and the Graysons ready to do battle.

Comments on episode 3.17 called Addiction:

So Pascal "got rid of" Aiden's father in the whole cover-up. I wonder if he had him killed? Aiden's father is dead, right? And he was an innocent victim as well.

It's funny actually, because Conrad and Victoria are victims in the mess too. That terrorist group who downed the plane wanted to frame Conrad for everything, but Conrad with Victoria and all their friends came together to shift scapegoat from Conrad to David Clarke. That's where they stopped being innocent.

So this Pascal... He kinda creeps me out. He is awful to Margaux. I assume that she hasn't done him wrong here. So she doesn't deserve his cold attitude.

And what about Pascal relying on Conrad to get Victoria??? He couldn't get her on his own. Conrad had to use reverse psychology on Victoria saying that the thought of Pascal & Victoria makes his blood boil. And then got the deed of the house from Stevie, giving to to Pascal to give to Victoria as if Pascal got it back for her. What is that deal about??? Why is Conrad so determind to push Pascal and Victoria together?

Daniel sure has some gall, showing up like he is the boss of the world. I laughed when Emily revealed that she paid for the casino party with his credit card. LOL!

So now Emily knows that Pascal is trying to manipulate her. Pascal is doomed. Emily is far too smart to trust a stranger with an obsession for Victoria. And now Aiden is probably out to get his own revenge on Pascal.

Curious to find out if Victoria will solve the Emily Thorne puzzle by the end of season 3.

Spoilers for the remaining episodes this season:

Victoria gets closer and closer to finding out who Emily is and what her plans are. Pascal dies, I believe he dies already in episode 3.20 airing April 27th. But he isn't the only person to die this season. A bigger character than Pascal will also kick the bucket, but in the season finale. Conrad ends up in jail before the season finale, as he will spend that hour of the show having an awful time behind bars.

Chanses are good that Revenge will return with a 4th season, but nothing is confirmed yet. ABC President is however happy that Revenge can manage without a strong lead-in show which means that ABC can place Revenge at pretty much any timeslot. My guess is that the Sunday line-up will remain, with Once upon a time, Resurrection & Revenge.

Emelee, I couldn't help but read your spoilers, but then I forgot them again, so everything was a surprise. :) Have you watched the final episode yet? OMG it was GREAT!!!

Great?! Maybe if that had been the series finale. And I am going to treat that episode as though it was the series finale, cause I am not watching season 4, that's for sure.

DC alive is beyond ridiculous and I can only feel sad for the show's creator Mike Kelley who left the show after season 2. That just ruined the whole point of Emily's revenge.

Plus killing off Conrad and Aiden....... NO! Uh-uh. Especially Conrad is the best frickin villain since JR Ewing. Charming, witty and would do anything to win, except putting your children's lives in jeopardy. You do NOT kill off such a character. The only thing I liked on the episode was Victoria finally getting what she deserved. I dislike character who victimize themselves and blame all their crap on others. Taking a chance on Charlotte's life, and then paralyzing Aiden, smothering him to death and putting him up on display for Emily was beyond anything she's ever done before. She's no longer a villain that I can enjoy. In my mind, she will remain locked up like a crazy person for the rest of her life. Also, I have decided that Conrad played dead so his attacker, that was only a DC look-a-like, would leave. He was then picked up by an employee, who drove him to a private clinic for his stab wound. And then he left the country, found Lydia and is planning his comeback.

I also think that Nolan's tech skills have become ridiculous. Technology can't do all those things, GMAB! And his constant word-games started becoming annoying. There, I said it. I am not a Nolan-fan. LOL. Like cursing in church to admit such a thing.

Emelee, I know you said you weren't going to watch the next season of Revenge, but have you had a change of heart at all? I've been watching the new season and I think it's really good. :)

No, I have not changed my mind. I always said that if David Clarke was alive and they killed off my favorite character, I'd have no more interest in watching. They did both. It threw me off the show completely. I prefered creator Mike Kelly's version for the show. When he stepped down because he was not allowed to get shorter seasons, I had a feeling things would change for the worse. It's like if a novel changed author after half the book was written. Two visions colliding - not working together.

In all honesty, only season 1 was amazing. Season 2 and 3 were so-so. So it was easy for me to quit watching when they made David Clarke come back to the living and killed off that charmig devil Conrad. If I had written the show, I'd have the Graysons take everything away from Emily a second time. That way, she'd have even more reason to hate them and her actions would once again be completely justified. Now, instead, it feels like she did all these things that her father never wanted her to do in the first place, all for pretty much nothing. Her dad is not a sweet innocent guy. So there Emily stands having sacrified her whole life so far in a quest she cannot win no matter what she does. It's like a constant spiral without any goal or purpose anymore.

I don't even like the majority of the characters anymore. Charlotte is just too whiney, Daniel is a d-bag, Jack is ridiculous, Nolan is annoying me and Margaux I see not purpose of. And Victoria I just want to drop dead. At the end of season 3, I only really liked Conrad and Emily to be honest.

I hated the ending. It was too sweet, sappy and quite lame. Like Revenge was a romantic comedy or something. I never liked Jack & Emily. To me, thay lacked all kinds of chemistry.

On top of that, there was no shocker in the finale. Something that went me go "woah!", like next to all episodes of the show had. The finale was the time to go out with a big BANG.

I must say that the entire season 4 was a big let-down.

I enjoyed this show as a guilty pleasure.  Thought the 1st series was great, but by series 2 it was getting sillier and sillier, with so many twists I couldn't remember who was who or what was going on, as characters seemed to suddenly change (which is a major fault with many long running series, especially the soaps) so I just watched it for escapism.  I agree that Emily and Aiden were probably the most convincing couple, but it was inevitable who she would end up with.  I did watch right to the end, and must admit I miss my Monday night silliness!  But it probably went on longer than it should have done.
