Hurray ! Well done ! I am slowly going through video tapes which I`ve had for ages ( currently on S3 of Damages ) - it`s a small start, but it`s a start. Would you have a large Library annexe ?

I liked Shades of Grey ; I thought he created a fascinating world. Pity that a sequel doesn`t seem forthcoming. EDIT - Just thought I`d have a look at Jasper Fforde`s page and it looks like there`s a prequel on the way. Oooh.

I do like those graphic art covers, where they use 3 or 4 colours to construct a blocky picture. Pretty lucky that those books still have their dust covers after all these decades.

Thanks ! I`m feeling less bleurgh now ; I just have to be careful rolling over in bed ( even wearing two pairs of thermal, fleecy socks, my denuded toes make me go eek! a little ).

I`m pleased with the out-of-print books ; some of them have library stickers from Fresno, Oneonta, Lambton, and some have personal library stickers inside. I do like the idea of my books having been on a journey.

I rotated the pics so they were readable, but the photos have reverted - and have a blue tinge when I enlarge them. EDIT - blue tinge has now gone, but pics still need some head turning to read the titles - or movement of the monitor.

Charity shop books - Ghostwritten ( David Mitchell ), The Believers ( Zoe Heller ) and Hiding from the Light ( Barbara Erskine ) - all for £3.75 I went to cheer myself up with books after seeing the chiropodist ( I needed 3/4 of my big toenails removed `cos of infection ; hopefully, I`ll be able to stop the antibiotics soon - I`ve been taking them since December ). My toes look a bit scary now, but I`m sure they`ll fell better soon.

I`m imagining all the books coming out of the car like when a multitude of clowns come out of a tiny clown car.

Hurray, new books ! I`ve found some great books when I`ve taken a chance on something cheap.

I treated myself to another Richard Lockridge book - The Tenth Life - for £5.85.

I loved The Magic Tidy book, but also found it really didn`t apply to books - and that`s the main `untidies` in the house. Still, my cat does enjoy climbing from book pile to book pile. I have the second book - Spark Joy - still to read.

* Shuddders* Yikes ! Though - also - yay that you`ll be able to read well !

The Long Utopia looks really weird ! I have the first two books, and I`m not sure about continuing with the series ( so I`ll be interested in your views ).
