I think you might like it if you try watching it again one day! Are you usually a Fincher fan? I just like the way he films things and his attention to detail is excellent. If you decide you want to watch it, you'll probably be glad to know that only one death is by stabbing and the rest is by bullet. The fact that it's a true story too was just really interesting to me.

I've not heard of that film, Mexicola, but just from the blurb/cast info I saw on IMDB it looks great! You'll have to let us know what you think of it . I'm not sure when it opens in the US, but it looks like something I might dig.

Zodiac is one of my favorite films, Mexicola, and I've seen it numerous times, but I'm not a fan of the violence in it. The stabbing scene being the worst, so I agree with you about that. The other scenes I just close my eyes, but I know where you're coming from . I have trouble watching anything where people are tortured or impaled on things, yuck. I'm not a fan of gore so if there's blood it it has to be quick and fleeting otherwise I just shut my eyes.

Here in the States there are mainly two kinds of grocery stores, the huge super market type where you bag your own, and then more expensive stores where they have 2 people at each register, the cashier and the bag-person. Otherwise there are other small places where the cashier rings you up and bags. It really just depends on where you go .

I'm glad RP gained another fan, Kimmy, woo! I thought he did really well in it too, and I was a little weary since I hadn't seen him play any role but Edward. And he was funny, too! Sarcastic funny - it fit him .

Just finished some bread with babaghanoush and stuffed grape leaves, so I'm in heaven! I ran to the local Lebanese deli today for my mom and of course had to come home with something for myself .

Boreas is one of my faves too, Chrysalis! I don't think there's a Waterhouse I don't love though . For me, that's the best part of living in my place - getting to hang up all the artwork and photographs. You'll have to hang up a Waterhouse for sure when you get your own place .

Oh, yum, Chrissy!! I've had those, but I'm not sure what we call them here. Growing up my favorite was a drumstick, which is exactly what you described but the ice cream sticking out the top of the cone was coated with peanuts. Ahh the memories!

Excllent haul, Chesil, wow! Looks like some great titles . My weekend's turned busier than I planned, so my reading has suffered for it. I think I got in 2 pages last night before I fell asleep . Hopefully I'll get more read though this afternoon when I get home. Oh, but I did stop in Borders yesterday and picked up 'Family Tree' magazine. Does that count as activity?!

I didn't put a cut-out Ed head on it because then it would be like her saying "don't make me choose" to him! That just wouldn't do. I'm glad you saw Remember Me, Kimmy! I was definitely of two minds about that one.

I had fish tacos out for dinner tonight and they were delish! Oh, also had a nice glass of champagne with candied ginger and cranberry juice - YUM .
