I'm not part of a book club currently, but during college I was in one for about 3 years. We used to meet at this place downtown called Jitters, and it was so comfy. It was right on this street where there were no cars allowed, and where they held the farmer's market and small concerts. So during the summer it was nice because the social atmosphere used to spill outside . That place is where I first became addicted to almond lattes, and we used to either sit around on big sofas or at these old-fashioned formica tables. My last year of college they added a bar and a stage for bands and then it just turned too trendy and obnoxious unfortunately, but it was fun while it lasted!

Started on my salad while my shrimp is bubbling away in the oven .

Glad you're getting into Chosen and that your mojo has made an appearance, CW! I read about 25 pages of Pride, Prejudice and Zombies last night before falling asleep. I'm having a good time reading it . Oh, and I also have just about finished the Twilight graphic novel. I know the story, but it's neat reading it with the graphics - something I've never done before.

You'll have to let us know what you think of the Vampire Diaries books 3 & 4, Weave! I'm curious . Evernight sounds frustrating! The premise sounds cool, but that's too bad that it just didn't live up to the potential. Maybe the rest of the books get better? How many are in the series?

Mexicola, for shame! Jeff Bridges does not belong in the Weird Crush Corner! I love him . Alan Rickman yes please, especially as Colonel Brandon in S&S. I'm made fun of very frequently for my swooning over Javier Bardem, and if Frankie were here she would appreciate my fascination with Vincent Gallo . Oh, and I wouldn't object to Vincent D'Onofrio being in my weird crush corner either....
