Thank you all!
Welcome Rose!
I hope you'll have a nice time here. Do you only read Dutch books or do you read English books as well?
Actually, I started reading English books about a year ago. Before that, I read only French books... but from English authors (translated) . I wasn't quite sure if I would be able to read in English. I tried... and never stopped since! I enjoy it and I learn so much from it!
That's why I wanted to find an English forum also, because nobody near me is reading the same books as I do.

There are 3 volumes, right? I've read the first 2 ones, but in French, so I don't know which one is which in English. I've loved them and I believe the third one's just been released. So I definitely will read the third one! Thanks for reminding me!
I've checked.
The first one is called "The Tea Rose", the second one is "The Winter Rose" and the last one is "The Wild Rose" but is not yet been released.
Edit: the paperback of the latter has not yet been released, but the hardcover (but American version) was released last August!

I really enjoyed A Vintage Affair by Isabel Wolff.
Yes, me too! I enjoyed all the books by Isabel Wolff actually. I think I've read them all, or almost

The Tea Rose by Jennifer Connolly is an historical romance / saga set in the East end of London and is very good. The fact that I do not read romances as I pretty much hate them, yet enjoyed this one, should indicate just how good it is!

At the moment my favourite chick-lit authors are: Gemma Burgess and Jane Costello.

Hi!
I love London, and I love reading books set in London. So if you know novels (Chick Lit, Contempory, Romance) set in London, please let me know!
Thanks!

I've received this book a few days ago, but I was still reading another one, so.... But tonight I can finally start with this one: "One Minute to Midnight" by Amy Silver. The cover is gorgeous, I love the setting, so I can't wait to read it! :-)

Hi everyone,
I'm MysteryRose or Rose and I'm new on this forum. I'm Dutch, so please forgive the mistakes I'll make!
I found this forum after some search on the internet, and now here I am. I love books and these days I'm mostly into Chick Lit, but I like history and contempory as well.
Cheers! :-)

Thank you. I'll check them out. I must say that at the moment I don't really read historical fiction, but I usually enjoy them. So if I like the synopsis, I will definitely add them to my wish list. Thanks again!
