  1. That is such good news Chesilbeach, I know I had problems before I got my asthma under control.
  2. I don't understand the negative feedback, wait, watch and see. I am looking forward to seeing what she brings to the show. To be fair she cannot be any worse than Peter Capaldi. I just did not get on with him at all. I will definitely give the show another go now, personally I feel it is already lighter or breath of fresh air, may be better way of saying it.
  3. Finally I will be starting the Essex Serpent when I get home tonight - Sarah Perry. I hope it lives up to expectations
  4. The Merchant of Venice - William Shakespeare
  5. Well we didn't get the storms that were forecast but we did get the rain, not as much as some parts through. Still very muggy and miserable out.
  6. I'm not sure that the new doctor and bill will get on, but didn't bill wander off into the sunset hopefully never to be seen again.
  7. Well after a weekend of unsettled weather, one minute raining the next cloudy and overcast, the sun didn't get through at all. Monday morning back at work and yes the sun has come out.

  17. What a lovely weekend for reading. Finished The Vintage Summer Wedding - Jenny Oliver The Womens War, The House Husband and Private Gold - Bookshots - James Patterson Moved onto: A Leap of Faith - Trisha Ashley and The Cheltenham Square Murder - John Bude
  18. I have not liked many of the episodes for this season and the last episode drove me to distraction. I think I will have to think about watching the new series - ok it depends on who it is going to be I suppose.
  19. I find just driving home in the car makes me smile especially at this time of the year when you know you can go out into the garden, do a bit of watering, dead head some flowers, and just take in the amazing beauty of the flowers.
  20. There are some really nice sounding meals on here, makes me so hungry. We had salmon salad last night which I so enjoyed, still on the healthy eating but at this time of the year is not a hardship. Had a frozen yogurt after it which I think I will do all the time, so much nicer than just having it straight out of the fridge.
  21. Well done Lau Lou Not much happened this month yet, had two days off work poorly last week which was not good but at least I got a bit of reading done, So there was a bonus. Enjoyed sitting out in the garden over the weekend and dead heading the rose bushes but other than that I did nothing.
